Our club has over 400 members and offers golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the game in a friendly and relaxed environment, while encouraging competition throughout the golf season. Residency in the Town of Fairfield is not a requirement to join the H. Smith Richardson Men's Club, as many of our members live in surrounding communities. 

 

Membership with the H. Smith Richardson Golf Club has many benefits, including:

Interested in a membership with the HSR Golf Club?

  1. Current members will receive an email with the new application and on line renewal process shortly. Or you can attend the annual meeting on 26 Jan.
  2. New members please come back after Jan 26, the new membership application link will be posted then. You can mail in the application to the address noted or drop it off in the HSR pro shop.
  3. Please allow up to 30 days for your membership to become active. All new members must be approved at the monthly men's club meetings which occur on the 1st Wednesday of each month.
  4. Once approved, our Membership and Handicap Chairman will reach out with information regarding your handicap and how to get started posting scores.
  5. You can begin posting scores and participating in our weekly and major events right away! Please review our Tournaments - Getting started guide and Rules and Regulations before participating in events.

 

Prior Year Renewals
If you are renewing your membership from the previous year, we require any renewals to be submitted before March 31st. If your membership application is submitted after this deadline, your membership and handicap information will be cleared, and you will need to be re-approved at the next board meeting. In addition, all new members and renewals after the March 31st deadline will pay a higher membership fee.
